We decided to go to Pisa.

Graziella and I have figured out that the price of this trip has been adding up to more than what we expected it to cost.  To make ends meet, Graziella has been quite resourcful and helped earn some extra money at the first chance she could when we entered Pisa.

To make selling the her wears a little easier, Graziella decided to try a little tougher look!

Yes Cheesy photo shoots

Was hot today 36.3C

We were very lucky to get a room in Pisa because every June 16th the towns population doubles from approximately 90,000 people to over 200,000 people for just that day.  They love to celebate what is know as the" La Luminara di San Ranieri "   The center of the city is lit with 140,000 candles placed in white wooden frames called “la biancheria” (literally, the linens). La biancheria is hung on the façades of the Palazzi of the Lungarno, on the bridges, on the river banks.

To finalize the night the city sky is flooded with the bright lights of  a massive fireworks display that lasted for almost a half an hour.  I only taped just a bit of the fireworks, because I wanted to just enjoy the moment with Graziella.

It is time to check out from our B&B Pisa and move on so I don't have time to tell all about our stay here.  We may not have internet connection where we are going so I will update as soon as possible.
