Levanto
Our drive from Vence to Levanto was not as bad as I thought it would be. When we first Googled it, we were told it would take 6 hours on the normal highways and 3 hours on the autoroute. Well we mixed it up both ways and made it in 4 1/2 hours. The Italians are way crazier drivers. There are small little scooters and motorcycles everywhere here. They come up on your right, cross in front of you and then pass the guy in front of you on the left.
Graziella really changed it up with this B&B. We are staying in a rustic farmhouse called Erba Persa Agriturismo. The lady running the B&B is named Grazia Lizza with her husband Claudio.
Ooooooo. Is one of thoes chalices on top of the book shelf the "Holy Grail"??? and were all thoes books in French?
ReplyDeleteitaly really suits you mom!
ReplyDeleteWell Mark a few more steps in Freemasonry, toward being a Knights Templar and I will be able to tell you what you ask.
ReplyDeleteAmazing but no, not all the books are in French. What happens is that when a guest comes here and finishes reading a book, they leave it here for the next person. There are books from all over the world.
You are so right Joshua. Mom and Italy really fit well. We met a couple from France on the trail to Monterosso yesterday. Mom started talking to her in french, the woman responded in Italian so Mom switched to Italian then they both started to intermix both Italian and French with a little English for flavour. It was so great that I wish I would have taped it.
